i recently finished the boondocks (like i finished it tonight lmao) and i'm curious to know if there's any other fans of the show, especially other black americans 😫 i'm too tired to fully express my thoughts right now tho lmaooo
im also a (black) fan of the show! as a watcher since last year, i really found it (unexpectedly, for the most part,) tastefully funny while still being provocative. i'm completely amazed with how much its commentary fits for not just the time it was made in, but also in present times. while i had concerns with the show that ranged from me finding the seasons having less quality when it came to its writing, to about the way black women were represented (and lack of representation), much of its commentary and cast remained so strong and well-written... would definitely watch again!!
