I don't get why most people do digital art and hate doing traditional art for Art Fight. Apparently it's because most traditional illustrations are just sketches or that bad photo quality make them ugly??? I don't agree, I've seen some amazing traditional illustrations! As an artist doing both but with a preference for traditional art, it saddens me.
What do y'all think of this inequality? And if you're participating/used to participate, did you do digital or traditional art?
i do digital art for artfight cause i always have, but i also dont like to color my art generally.. i think some trad artists can absolutely be very talented, it just stinks when its hard to see that talent with a subpar phone camera
i will say tho ive gotten a handful of traditional attacks being on artfight and i think theyre lovely :)
@Omnium i think theres also the point that digital art is a bit more accessible as not everyone has all the materials needed to make certain kinds of art (mainly colors. thats usually the main issue i think)
I do digital art mainly because I enjoy it more and I don't have the supplies to traditional. Plus, traditional puts more strain on my hands.
