Back at it's release, people had a lot of not-so-nice things to say about King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride. People hated the turns that Sierra took with it. Weird cartoony style, simplified controls. Even considered Rosella's character to be "dumbed down" from what she used to be.
I absolutely adore that game though, and see so much beauty and magic in it's jank. I see a lot that I relate to in it as well, generational and societal expectations being challenged, pleas for the people closest to us to understand, etc etc.
It's got some great vocal stimmy lines all throughout it, too. Catch me saying "Prince Throckmorton?! Motherr, he's so boring!" "Hidee hi, sugarpie!" "Cadaverrroussss... He's biting me!" and "Green cheese!? GREEN CHEESE?!" etc all night long. Hehe.

I played a licensed mobile gacha that was widely regarded as awful for a year, because the series it was attached to had just ended, and it was the only way I could potentially see more content of a character i thought was cute. Mind you, I think gacha games are generally like the lowest form of game, the developers don't even have the decency to pretend they're not only after your wallet.
I still check in and play it every now and then when the character has gotten a new unit (😝)

I wanna play no more hero’s as well I missed it on Wii when it came out but always thought it looked cool
resident evil 6, the story sucks ass but playing split screen with a friends is honestly fun af
