Most ancient games you return to frequently.

Now given that we are all sorts of ages, there are ofcourse gonna be a lot of different time periods in this, so of course i just mean ancient from your prospective. All of its valid.

But the question being,  What old as dirt, ancient AF games do you find you return too frequently and enjoy, like literally over and over.

mine would be

Imperium Galactica Allience 2.     1999

Civilization 3.   2001

Warhammer dawn of war. (first one)    2004

Empire earth 2   2005

Baldurs Gate 2.   2000

Metal gear solid.  1998

 OG  silent hill 2. 2001

Final fantasy 7  1997

Final Fantasy 8.  1998

Galaga is a good one, I love Galaga.

Zoo Tycoon 2 and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.

Lots of old flash games. The Clickamajigs from Nickelodeon, old Barbie.com games, you know.

Chuzzle, Bookworm, Bejeweled.

Those old Putt Putt games every once in a while.

I mainly go back to the classic sonic games, I play through them at least once a year or so. Some other older games I tend replay are also classic Mega Man, Quake, and some nintendo stuff like Donkey Kong Country and Kirby ^^

Touhou 6. Im something of an otaku

I now see i probably should have separated my own games selection from the initial post. newbie mistake on my part, sorry :P.

Doom 1 & 2 ('93 & '94), Castlevania Symphony of the Night (1997), Postal 1 (also '97), Crash Bandicoot Warped (1998), Crash Team Racing (1999). I had the remasters on my switch, but I wound up playing my psp and then down the line my vita way more so I just wound up playing the originals. Also, the remasters take so much time to load on switch I couldn't enjoy it anymore. Better graphics never make a better game. (Hope this list doesn't show how painfully Gen Z I am, haha).

Metal Slug is my ol' reliable whenever I want a trip down nostaliga lane!

The Crash Bandicoot series for the PS1, mainly Warped (1998) and Crash Bash (2000)

The Spyro the Dragon trilogy for the PS1, mainly the first (1998) and Year of the Dragon (2000)

Thrillville for the PS2 (2006), it's kinda trash but it's my kinda trash

also this weird tetris game called Tetris Worlds, originally I had it for the Xbox but now I have it on the PS2 (2002), i play it when i need to turn off my brain

i also tend to play remakes of these old MMORPG games like Club Penguin (og 2005) and Pixie Hollow (og 2008) if those count

Neverhood reappears in my head every once in a while <3

Other than that I still play Club Penguin and Pandanda and various Papa Louie games, though those aren't *that* old

PS2 Burnout's, any older gen of GTA's, Midnight Club... and I do go back to Zelda Minish Cap once in a while. Very fun.

LITERALLY every single game mentioned above. always playing sims 1 and civ 3, of course. been playing a lot of simcity 2000 and wolfenstein 3d lately though!

Big XBox 360 girl if you couldn't tell lollll

theres a ton of other games but these are staples for me
