Most ancient games you return to frequently.

Now given that we are all sorts of ages, there are ofcourse gonna be a lot of different time periods in this, so of course i just mean ancient from your prospective. All of its valid. 

But the question being,  What old as dirt, ancient AF games do you find you return too frequently and enjoy, like literally over and over.

They are relatively but that's why I made an explicit point to recognize many people of many ages would have a very different take on it .

okay being legally an adult doesnt make a game ancient?

also was thinking of the portal games and half life 2

might be because i consider any game thats older than the original wolfenstein ancient 

anything after it is just old methinks

while i wouldnt consider it ancient per se pepsiman is a game i play a lot

also the original prince of persia which is ancient but i just never got to complete it and thats alright

Man f-zero though that's wild that's thrown me way back. I def played that for hours but it was fuckin in the 90s I last even saw it that's a wild feeling to see that again

Rayman 1!! It's incredibly difficult but it's so beautiful I always find myself coming back to it. It's from 1995.

@pondjoose TRIALS HD!!! I used to love that so much as a kid and have not heard of it in so long. I am so happy someone else has played Trails.

I still think ESPN NFL 2k5 is the greatest American Football video game of all time.

In addition to great gameplay and a $20 price tag, the features and customization were unprecedented for the time (and still are). You could even choose the music that played at your team's stadium between plays, when you scored a touchdown, etc.

It's no wonder this game singlehandedly forced EA to enter into an exclusive agreement with the NFL and force us into 20+ years of sub-par Madden games.

Every now and then ill play a bit of ADOM. Not very good at it heheh.

Insaniquarium! (2001) Love that game!

wouldn't call it ancient and it definitely isn't unknown in any capacity but halo 2 (2004) is just such a time-devouring game. i admit most days i just find myself queueing it on MCC since i dont have much freetime and dont feel like setting up insignia to play a game on original hardware but team swat on ascension is godly.
