I played DS1, remake, and 2 and I enjoyed it so much. I technically didn't finish DS2 cause I ran out of ammo on the FINAL boss... but I say I completed the game.
As much as I like 2 I do wish Isaac stayed a silent protag it made the game feel way more suspenseful. I also think the remake did such a good job reinforcing the horror of the 1st game PLUS some extended lore was awesome.
dude I LOVE Dead Space. Best horror franchise imo. I think the remake is perfect and now the definitive way to play it. Sure wish we would get more xP
I love Dead Space!! My personal favorite is Dead Space 2, and I lowkey agree about him staying a silent protagonist. I wish they would show more of his personality through journaling, writing, body language, etc. either way, he’s still such a cool character!!

i'm playing through dead space remake right now, and it's my first time. that's interesting to hear that issac was a silent protagonist! what do you think of the original vs the remake? my friends told me the remake was just a better game, so I went with that, but should I of maybe went with the original?
@tedforpres2020 hard to compare the 2 imo. theyre both incredibly good games for both times it was released. I will say the remake does lowkey have better mechanics and obviously better graphics than the og, buttt the og is still insanely good. I recommend playing the og one day
