I played DS1, remake, and 2 and I enjoyed it so much. I technically didn't finish DS2 cause I ran out of ammo on the FINAL boss... but I say I completed the game.
As much as I like 2 I do wish Isaac stayed a silent protag it made the game feel way more suspenseful. I also think the remake did such a good job reinforcing the horror of the 1st game PLUS some extended lore was awesome.
