Ive made two blogs and I expected tons of comments to flow in but no just some kudos from irl friends and that's it. its like no one views them. Im not that good at explaining my thoughts but like I wish more people interacted with blogs in general. idk but if you have time you should totally check out the two I've made ๐

the thing is, this site is by no means as wildly active as spacehey is/was
but
it's very slowly building momentum, little by little anyway
imo the forums seem far more active in contrast to blogs here
though that could just be the fact that i'm very active on the forums anyway

yeah, thats what i was wondering too. i kind of wish people would interact more, ive been nervous abt it being clique-y but i doubt thats the issue. i think people tend to interact with things that are simpler to answer. :T which i understand tbh.

It seems bulletins and forums gain the most attention. From what I have seen on my homepage, replies to bulletins and forums take over the friend activity section. I guess it's a matter of willingness to interact or being seen in the activity section to show you made a blog.ย

i feel like people have forgotten what a blog is supposed to beโฆ iโve browsed a little, and most of them just feel like bulletin posts that are hoping for interaction or attention. a few sentences doesnโt really give readers anything to connect with; it just feels like reading a tweet. i miss when blogs were longer and actually told a story or shared an interesting perspectiveโฆ but thatโs just my opinion!!

@lillie yes I agree alot of the blogs I see now are just one sentence blogs just asking for friends rather then someone talking about their day or an experience they had.

do what I do and make a bulletin announcing when youโve made a blog post, that way people can see it more easily

I think announcing it to the ppl u have added is a way to get ppl to interact w it more.
It may have to do w the layout of blogs being sorted by recent rather than most comments, kudos, etc. immediately upon opening the page. But Iโd rather it be like that than the โtop blogsโ on other sites bc it makes blogging less of a competition n more writing about whatever that interests you :^)

Tbf a lot of my moots are actively engaging with different blogs etc but 4 me, not much is visible lately lmaoo. I'm kinda nervous to write a lot 2, maybe that's why. Fw definitely seems to flourish a lot more over the span of days and weeks Iclll
