my brain keeps having a couple of staind songs on rotation (warm safe place, right here, please) but my recent earworm has been the entire undertale soundtrack (more specifically asgore lol) since ive been watching so many playthroughs

I absolutely love this song. There’s something so special about the atmosphere it has, it feels more vulnerable and melancholic than a lot of The Strokes' other songs. The piano, Julian Casablancas' almost tired-sounding vocals, and the whole feeling of nostalgia make it such a beautiful track
I think what I love most is how simple it feels but how much emotion it carries. It has that very specific early 2000s indie feeling: a little lonely, a little dreamy, and somehow comforting at the same time. It’s one of those songs that gets stuck in your head not because it’s loud or flashy, but because it creates a whole mood
In Love with a Creeper by Danny Gonzalez and Kurtis Conner.
