My family couldn't afford cable when I was growing up, so I mostly watched PBS Kids and the Saturday Morning kids shows on 4Kids, ABC, and other channels. (I also watched some cable shows that my older sister would tape from her college dorm room on a VHS 😆)

As a kid, my only favorite TV show was Courage the Cowardly Dog. I spent most of my time playing outside, so I didn’t watch much TV, and Courage was something that aired at night.
