tell me small facts about your oc

my favorite thing is to give small, rather insignificant traits and characterists to my ocs and i wanted see if other ppl did the same! i share some for my charater nolan (here's his art fight page if you wanna read his backstory )

• he knows how to play piano. not perfectly since he hasnt played in years
• he's a huge kaiju/anime fan
• he likes Isaac Asimov books (hates the I,Robot movie though because its so inaccurate)
• he did gymnastics for four years because he was inspired by Nightwing
• he likes to feed the stray cats around his apartment buliding

i actually have a few of these saved in a notes doc!! its fur my character karo, he's half cat half bird :)

[ ] favorite steak cooking method is well done
[ ] huge fan of mangos
[ ] his hearing in his left ear is significantly worse then the right due to the burst eardrum not healing properly
[ ] has gnarly migraines
[ ] can do a kickflip
[ ] licks his hand fur sometimes as a nervous tic / stim
[ ] the scars on his back are his weakspot
[ ] the scar on his arm gets really itchy
[ ] his top fangs are closer inward than his bottom fangs due to having had braces

this is about my cutie oc jonah that i luv so much

• he loves fruit, his favorite being raspberries
• lucy gray baird is his favorite character ever, especially since she reminds jonah of one of his partners (abel)
• he'd never get his nails professionally done, but he loves looking at different designs of acrylic nails
• his signature scent is tokyomilk arsenic
• he never used toner when he first started bleaching his hair. i have a cat on my minecraft world named "jonah's bad bleach job in 1996" LMFAO

-likes grizzly bears, would pet one if she could

-likes spicy, savoury foods that would typically put a victorian child into a coma. Prefers meat over veggies

-if she had a fursona, it would be a porcupine

-has wild untamed long hair that makes her look like a ghost or a witch. She never ties it up and rarely brushes it, much to the dismay of her motherly figure

-a lot of supernatural entities are attracted to her for some reason. Might have a spirit or two attached to her.

-regularly stays up late then regrets it in the morning. Has dark eyebags

-smells like moss and dirt after rain

-usually introverted and reserved until she gets drunk, then she causes destruction the likes of which is rarely ever seen

-likes to watch nature documentaries

-wants to run away into the amazon rainforest and become a local cryptid

-her favourite greek deity is Artemis

theres a lot of lore so some of these make no sense. trust ill be back to writing my novel soon T_T

well before her father killed her

-she likes sneaking off to explore abandoned places alone
-always sleeps with only one stuffed animal even though she has like hundreds
-shes half mexican and white
-she likes to draw on her walls
-her mom is the closest person to her even though she rarelty talks to her mom
-she almost never made it to school yet somehow graduated at 16??
-her favorite band is slackjaw

after she came back to life

-her hair that covered half her face, helped hide the fact she didnt have an eye anymore
-she was homeless at the train stations for a bit
-she puts colorful bandages to keep her rotting skin from peeling
-there was a strange korean woman that alwyas bought her food and even done her nails one time.
-shes an amazing pickpocketer
-she sometimes wakes up coughing blood

Niko (although I should do this exercise with all my OCs)

-she goes to pride parades every year 

-knows how to play piano even though she hates it

-likes every ramen flavor besides shrimp

-believes that people who don't turn their phones off during a movie deserve to drown

-has a pretty good singing voice that you couldn't force out of her if you tried

-can do a backflip, uses it to derail arguments often

I have way too many ocs that I'd love to yap about, but here's some stuff about a fan character from one of my fav games

- don't ever give him a cellphone. he will NOT know what to do with it

- the process of his body evolving some of the traits he has now was painful. and very slow. and painful

- used to enjoy whistling while he works, but now he can't :^(

- is a licensed drilling rig and wrecking ball operator, amongst other things

- had a slightly rocky relationship with his son. wanted him to be a like himself, while the kid prioritized education over hard labor which caused them to bicker quite often. they never sorted it out because they're men.

- claims he likes any sort of food that is edible. in truth, he doesn't really like fish

- caused only one death via a workplace accident. the other guy wasn't wearing his helmet, though. shame on him

- 100% straight. but has a peculiar crush on a certain someone 👀👀 [oc x canon hooray!]

- would either listen to divorced dad rock or stuff like Mitski

- sometimes coughs up blood. but it's a normal thing for him and his coworkers, so don't worry
