Need Some Game Recommendations

Back to Games

I know I’m a little late, but I played Dead Island 2 and honestly had a lot of fun with it, especially when I was playing with someone. Now that we aren’t playing anymore, I’m looking for something new. I’m open to pretty much any type of game. I’ve been seeing a few gameplay videos of The Isle, and it lowkey looks really fun, especially since I’m a big fan of proximity chat, but I’d love to hear some recommendations from you guys

@⋆ 𝒜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒽𝓎𝓈𝓉 𝒟𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂 ⋆ Ohh this is sick. I’ve actually been thinking about getting Dying Light 1 because it looks like something I’d really enjoy. The only thing that could top that right now would be a new open-world zombie game with proximity chat. That would genuinely make my year

And lol I could definitely tell from all the recommendations but I really appreciate it. It’s honestly refreshing meeting someone who’s so passionate about something.

@Reverie It's not new but Day-Z is an open world multiplayer zombie game that has proximity chat.

@Reverie This is true. I also have never played it, I don't like people killing me, taking my loot just to be jerks. LOL

I love playing games, but I'm terrible at sticking with them. Here's my list of games that kept my attention, so they gotta be at least a little good:

  • Plague Inc. - Simple and classic and so fun. I have also heard great things about Rebel Inc!

  • Cobblemon.gg! - It's a pokemon minecraft server and I genuinely got addicted for like 3 months.

  • Approximately Up - If you like engineering type games this ones great. It's got a free demo that honestly kept me engaged plenty because its hardddd. Or I'm just stupid. Still lots of fun tho, especially with friends! Markiplier has a hilarious video on it.

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong - I do not like these types of games usually but I've enjoyed this one! I love the design and story.

  • YapYapI wish this game wasn't so short lived on popularity because its so fun and silly. I need people to play this w lol

  • Horriplant - Great game if you like clickers and horror. Has a demo too, I'm pretty sure.

  • Sky Children of The Light - A free to play open world(ish) game. Its got plenty of content, frequent updates, an active VERY KIND community. Its genuinely beautiful and has such an amazing story. It also has music and a concert from one of my favorite artists- Aurora. This is another fun one to explore with friends! This is actually my #1 suggestion. I think everyone should give it a shot.

@★ 𝐫𝐱𝐦𝐞𝐨 ★ omg Plague Inc. and YAPYAP are such good games i’ve played them both and really enjoyed them and i’ve been looking at Hollow Knight: Silksong but the thing keeping me away is that it’s a single-player exploration game you might have just put me onto something though because Approximately Up actually looks like something i would play once it fully releases i like when i have to use my brain cuz i rarely do lol

@Reverie I understand your view on Silksong! I was hesitant for the same reason (among others). I do enjoy it still, but thats me. Even with my experience with it I probably wouldn't play other games like it.

Approx. up is super fun! I haven't gotten to do too much with it yet and the blueprint feature was bugged last time I played. Idk if its fixed yet so I will warn you, if you dont finish a ship before you're done playing/ you want to keep a ship- it may not save! It sucks because its so hard to build when you start.
