When and How did you first start your practice? And how did you become interested in your chosen path?

Back to General Discussion

I will go first I first became interested in my chosen path at the age of 16. I did not start my practice until I was 18 after some studying of some different paths and finding that all of them spoke out to me in their own certain way. I then started to put some of what I learned in to practice. But I still study and read every day because I have learned as a witch there is always something new to learn. I actively started practicing at the age of 20 after coming out of the broom closet as I call it.

Honestly I was bored and 13 and home from school sick, and was scrolling through Pinterest when I found out about Wicca (ftr I am not Wiccan). It kind of blew my mind, and so I just started learning more and more. I went through multiple phases and down many paths and have never really felt any of them fit me perfectly, even in secret as I couldn't practice feely until recently. So I do what feels right and leave what doesn't, I have learned a lot about myself through this. I don't think I have a set "chosen path", just bits and pieces from everywhere. 10 years later I think I'm at a point where I know what I'm doing while continuously learning as much as I can. I'm eclectic through and through :^)

Short story: I became eclectic pagan when I got tired of the lies. The path connected with me and relieved stress.

Long story: I'll write it if anyone wants if
