floating button pane for writing blogs (low priority)

Back to Site Feedback

Hi! I write a lot of really long blogs, and for things like inserting tables + images, and changing text colour, whenever I want to do such a thing, I need to scroll all the way to the top of the text box to access this box.

If i use a shortcut like cmd+k to add links or if i want to edit an image's link and i double click the image, it also sends me all the way to the top of the blog.

i make a lot of blogs that are image-heavy, so this can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes when I'm trying to insert an image in the middle of my blog and I get transported back to the very top again and need to find where I inserted the image again.

would it be feasible to make the text box a scroll box + have the button pane always stay on the screen rather than have the page expand? (similar to how AnySpace or SpaceHey has its bulletins and blog writing system)

if thats not possible, could it be possible to have a floating button pane to the side or at the top of the page that always stays on the page while you are editing the blog, even if the top of the page is out of sight?

this is just a mild inconvenience!! so i dont really mind if this isn't implemented. idunno if other people who write blogs think its annoying, but this may just be a personal preference/pickiness on my end.

i agree :DD
