Old Creepypastas

Back to Books & Writing

What other creepypastas do people believe are real? I was talking to my friend and the Russian sleep experiment came up, and I’m pretty sure people still believe that it’s real today it got me wondering if there’s others like, abandoned by Disney, do people still believe these???

tbh, i didn't think ppl really believed in those ToT. i think because i've gone back and reread the original stories and saw how over-the-top some of the stories can be.

Jenny Nicholson has a pretty good video on yt about creepypastas that i highly recommend :)

I don't believe they're real anymore, but I always wanted to try those old "ritual-pastas" like the midnight game or the three kings ritual when I was younger

@Sol the Midnight Game, the Elevator Game, Calling for a Ride... I always wanted to play those, but I'm too chicken. It would be my luck that I ended up passing into another dimension.

I actually believed in Russian sleep experiment 😭😭 but I  was a kid ofc, it was my fav creepypasta. I also believed in Slenderman, now I look at Slenderman like old friend ahaha.

I believed all of them were real as a kid naturally. but I think the ones with the most legitimacy were the Russian sleep experiment and Mrfriend123. It's embarrassing but I only found out recently those were fake stories

when i was 14 i believed suicide mouse was either real or based on a real story

then when i was a few years older i saw the "real video" and laughed so hard. i think they made it on windows movie maker.

i didn't think it was necessarily real, but lavender town syndrome always made me real cautious when listening to the song that plays in lavender town when i was like 12. i definitely thought ted the caver was real though

While I don't really believe in the initial ideas that came from creepypastas, I like to think that the firm belief from multiple people all across the world all at once can make something real, in its own sense :] Perhaps not physically, but otherwise.

I never thought they were real but stuff like the midnight game scared me enough to where I wouldn't wanna try it myself

that one hide and seek japanese game with a plushie and a bowl of rice haunted me until now lol

though i never played it before (never had the intention to anw) but the act of shoving rice into something imitates human is quite chilling to a 6 years old me

i remembered imagining plushies hiding under the desk the bed just all over to pull my legs and drag me dead

Once as a kid, I was actually convinced that Slender-Man was living in our local forest plotting to kill me specifically.

i try not to believe in any of the stories but the nightmares were real!! i used to be so scared of sleeping at night bc i watched that one suicidemouse.avi video that i cried awake, legit pissing off my sister that was sleeping beside me lol. like i'd be afraid that suicide mouse would come into the room and grab me although i was 87% sure it wasn't real.

my brain love to repeat the worst situations as if its gonna happen when i read stories, like those creepy urban legends somehow could really be happening to me. i think im just like some of the commenters here, i love to read the ritual creepypastas but im scared as hell if i were to accidentally perform one. they seemed to be believable at the time though
