trying to practice my russian and i think listening to music in russian would be a great way to do it.....i know of a few already (кино, молчат дома, линда) but i would like some more!! im open to any genres really, just trying to expand my knowledge :P

Ive been listening to tATu in russian for a long time, the other one i listen to is Molchat Doma. I dont really know much about russian music actually, thats weird cause russia is my fav country. I was going to learn russian next year in highschool but unfortunately the chance reduced because no one wants to learn the language and it doesnt worth it to hire teachers. Im so sad about it but whatever i will have to learn french then. But i still have hopes that there will be enough ppl from my class who would learn russian.
oh yeahhh i forgot about taTu!!! i listened to a few of their russian songs....that really sucks that they wont have russian at your high school, maybe you can try learning it on your own? (i know that can be pretty difficult tho...) i took two semesters of it in college and am now practicing with a language app, even then it is still a little difficult, i need to actually practice it by talking to others in russian i think.....hopefully your school will offer it eventually!! :D

@самозванка yeahh! I was also thinking about taking lessons by my own, my school even has these afterschool practice lessons where I could learn it but thats too much work and I will already get tired from studying so much. Another problem is that ive already been learning japanese and english so if I start french I would have to learn 4 languages at once and thats impossible xdd
