I love the way lip piercings look, but I'm worried about the downsides. Do they make infections easier to develop? Can the holes close up? Does stuff come out of the holes?
They leave scars and you eventually out grow them and look childish and nobody takes you seriously. Had snakebites and also a labret for over 12 yearsΒ (not at the same time)

It does seem like it'd look childish after a while, and I wouldn't like the scars (I already hate my pimple scars)Β
