hellooooo!!! im an ovo-lacto vegetarian, looking for likeminded eaters... what are your favorite vegetarian/vegan recipes to make? :o

My vegan chili on top of noodles is my favorite food😍 Happy to write out the recipe if you're interested.

✨💖✨✌️✨

@ᖇᨵׁׅ꯱ꮛ✨ I also love making noodles with tofu, veggies, and peanut sauce.

I have a great vegan sloppy joe recipe saved, and I've made some good changes to that.

Always love a good rice bowl with vegetables. Beans, broccoli, peppers, tofu or some other meat substitute if you want it. Adding an egg to this would be good! Many different sauces are good on this, including the peanut sauce previously mentioned.

Viral feta pasta, I use vegan feta when I can find it.

Most of the things I make are leftover-friendly. I like to make enough food to eat for two or three days lol. So I use meat substitutes (more than I'd like) to make it easy.

✨💖✨✌️✨

@ᖇᨵׁׅ꯱ꮛ✨ ooh those all sound so good!!! if you wouldnt mind passing over the vegan chili recipe, i'd be delighted 👀 ive been looking for good chili to put on the plant-based hotdogs i get!!

@NILS or Q...

VEGAN CHILI:

1 large onion (I use white)

A few garlic cloves

1 block of ground Impossible Meat

2 large bell peppers or

3 small ones (color of your choice)

1/2 cup of vegetable broth

1/2 cup of apple juice

2 cans of diced tomatoes

2 spicy peppers of your choice (I use whole habaneros, but choose your own spice level)

3 cans of black beans

2 cans of drained and rinsed kidney beans

Dice onion and put in heated pot with olive oil on mid-low heat.

Mince garlic and add when onions are starting to become clear.

Add Impossible Meat and season to your liking (I like pepper, spicy paprika, chili powder, cayenne, chipotle powder, etc).

Dice bell peppers and add them when Impossible Meat is turning brown.

Let those cook a bit while you open and prepare your cans.

Take one can of diced tomatoes and put it in a blender with your spicy pepper(s) of choice.

Blend until incorporated.

Add this mixture, your other can of tomatoes, the vegetable broth, and the apple juice to the pot.

Add whole cans of black beans and drained/rinsed kidney beans.

Simmer for a hot minute (I usually leave it for an hour+).

Top with cilantro and green onions or other toppings of choice.

This makes a good amount! I eat it for a week. Freezes very well.

@ᖇᨵׁׅ꯱ꮛ✨ thank you sososo much!! will def be making this later :3

@ᖇᨵׁׅ꯱ꮛ✨ I am not vegan by any means, but this sounds so good, it would be a crime not to try it!!!

@𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 It’s a bit of an investment upfront, but by myself I eat it for a week straight! I put some in the fridge and some in the freezer to keep it from going bad, so I get a legit week out of a pot, and that’s with giving some to my dad each time. Putting it on noodles it lasts this long, anyway, so I’m not eating whole bowls. But you can also substitute for ground beef if needed!

✨💖✨✌️✨

@ᖇᨵׁׅ꯱ꮛ✨ I’ll definitely be trying this when I can!!!

big on mushrooms! I have good recipes for mushroom soup, mushroom burgers, and other stuff

@Vamptastic mushroom burgers sound sooo good 👀 thanks for the recommendation!!

Tofu Tacos are so yummy, I take very firm tofu, pat most of the excess moisture out, add some oil in the pan then crumble it, cook down until it starts to crisp on the bottom add either a taco seasoning packet or make your own seasoning, add some water as well so it sticks, then keep crisping it up on the bottom till how you like it. Then assemble your taco.

It is a little mushy but it tastes the same (˶ᵔᗜᵔ˶)ノ゙

Szechuan tofu with rice (tofu prepared however u like with sauce including soy sauce, roasted sesame oil, msg, sezchuan pepper, chinese cooking wine(shaoxing), soybeans in chili oil (lao gan ma), sugar, rice vinegar and tahini), tofu soup (mimicks finnish fish soup:  leek, potatoes, carrots, water, pepper, salt, smoked tofu, oil, cooking cream, grated lemon zest, dill, other spices to ur liking), vegan bolognese made with kibbled soy/minced soy or other meat alternative, vegan chili, tofu noodle salad w peanut butter dressing!

Hiii other veggie enjoyer!!

There are some amazing recipes above! So I thought I'd give you a quick snack recipe!

Chocolate & Peanut Butter dates

All you'll need is dates, peanut butter, a chocolate bar or chocolate chips and some salt.

So first cut open the dates and remove the pits. Only do like one slice along the side and leave it open.

Take a spoon or fork and place the peanut butter in the the middle of the dates.

Freeze for about an hour or so. It'll take longer depending on how cold your freezer is. Just make sure that the peanut butter is frozen.

Take the chocolate bar and melt it over the stove, or whatever way works for you. But I melt mine over the stove. (To do this I place a pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil, then place a bowl ontop of the pot and place the chocolate bar or chips in it, and stir it till the chocolate is melted.)

Once the chocolate is melted into a liquid I take it off the stove and use a fork to dip the dates & peanut butter into the chocolate.

I normally put it them back on the tray and sprinkle some sea salt on it, then place them back in the freezer till the chocolate is frozen.

Then I'll put them in a container and put them in the fridge and eat them as I go.

A BIT AGO I REALLY WANTED CRAB RANGOONS, SO I FIGURED OUT A VEGAN RECIPE FOR THEM (∩❛ڡ❛∩)

GET A LIKE 8OZ CONTAINER OF DAIRY-FREE CREAM CHEESE (FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, NOT ALMOND MILK CREAM CHEESE, IT'S AWFUL SO I GOT 'VIOLIFE' BRAND) AND 'FOLLOW YOUR HEART' FETA AND FOLD THEM INTO EACH OTHER UNTIL IT'S ALL MIXED THEN SEASON IT TO TASTE

THEN YOU TAKE REGULAR WONTON WRAPPERS (W/O EGG, JUST WHEAT; THEY'RE SMALLER THAN USUAL) AND PUT A GLOB OF THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE (*PLUS GREEN ONIONS AND IMMITATION CRAB IF YOU LIKE THOSE) IN THE MIDDLE, FOLD THEM AT THE CORNERS, AND OIL FRY @350 FOR 3 MINUTES/AIR FRY FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES

VERY YUMMY, ESP WITH SWEET CHILI SAUCE ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ)

@phishcantswim I SEE./... THANK U!!!
