I can´t hold it anymore, I LOVE THE MARS VOLTA.
Well, in case you don't know them (not surprised, they are the kind of band that are undervalued). The Mars Volta is an american band formed by the ashes of At The Drive-In, by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López in 2001, after the separation of ATDI
Their sound mixes a lot of progressive, math and kraut rock, hardcore and latin rythms. Specially for their latino roots (Omar being mexican puerto rican, and Cedric being mexican american).
With all the peak of the prog rock and psychodelic, The mars volta has the path built to the exit. They played at the MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica 2003
In the actually, they are still creating music; their last album was Lucro sucio; Los ojos del vacio, their must famous album is Deloused in the Comatorium and my favorite Frances the Mute.
