Everyone send you best photography photo!

this is probably my best
@Vamptastic holy moly, i love that... sick ass frog
@Vamptastic that's awesome!!!
I'm not a photographer or anything but I really like these

From an aquarium

Outside of a restaurant in a town of 200ish people in Illinois

Taken outside of my grandparents house on Christmas Eve

This one was taken the last time I went to Ireland, Kylemore Abbey

Taken on a morning walk, probably half a mile from my house

Another morning walk

And another, featuring the cornfield on that road
And a bonus, it sucks but is one of the coolest things I have (attempted) to photograph:

2024 solar eclipse

Also, aurora borealis above my house (in the southernmost part of Indiana at that!)

@Sol all of these are so cool!! i really love the aurora borealis
@Kayla⟡ tysm! The aurora was such a rare occurrence this far south, I'm happy I was able to get it on camera

@Sol these are beautiful, especially all the sky pics (i love sky pics)
@Sol , lady, where you live?, in heaven ?, OMG, what are these places, specially picture number, 2, 5 and 6
@psychosmiley Okay so #2 was taken outside of the restaurant we ate breakfast and dinner at every day for a month during my field school. That town is right on the Illinois river, kind of near where the Mississippi river intersects with it.
The other two were taken here in Southwestern Indiana, a bit down the road from my house. I live in a pretty rural area so it's safe to walk on the roads in the early morning (no sidewalks here). I was out on a walk with my ex when I took those. I was really happy with the fog one, because for as long as I can remember I've wanted to capture the fog that rises from the crops in the early morning as the sun comes up. I prefer the way it looks over the cornfields, but the soybeans look nice too I suppose! There's a road about a 5 minute drive from my house where the ground next to the road drops off into a valley, and there is this single tree out in the middle of that field and every morning on my way to my college classes, if I left early enough the sun would pierce through the fog over that field and that tree and the lighting is just *chefs kiss* it's so gorgeous. Indiana gets a lot of shit because a lot of it is farmland and our lawmakers suck, but Southern Indiana, especially here on the Ohio river (in the Ohio River Valley), is so genuinely beautiful I don't think I want to live anywhere else. Even when I go to Europe for my masters, and probably move somewhere else for my PhD, this will always be my home.
I really waxed poetic there lol, but I'm 100% serious about it all. Cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see or however that saying goes.

@Sol , yh that place is really breath taking, reminded me of my home town, filled my eyes with tears, ngl (happy tears), cause it has been a long time since i went to my hometown, if i ever decided to be a farmer, that will be in indiana, it's decided !!!.
@psychosmiley Lol, I'm happy my ramblings moved you. I hope you get to visit your hometown again :)

@Sol, yh, tysmmm !!!

A bonsai tree at the zoo in Asheville, NC

I like this one because it's moody. Chapel Hill, NC.

Obsessed with how the light was coming into the leaves. Chapel Hill, NC
@Kayla⟡ oooo the one with all the ivy in the trellis is so cool!

@Sol thank you :) it was at this airbnb i was staying at, it was on a farm so it was rustic and beautiful, i can't even take credit for styling it, i just snapped the photo
@Kayla⟡ stunning photos! NC is so beautiful, i get so many good pictures from things here
im wouldn't say im much of a photographer tbh but uhhh
these are a few i took from a day trip to tenby last year :3

Sorry, I don't know how to do it so it shows them.
I was sitting in a tree with my brother and the sun was setting so I took some pictures with my digital camera.
These were taken in a random neighborhood, it kind of gives off liminal vibes. I also took these with my camera.
Bonus pic of my cat watching birds
