To begin my parents are not together and my bio mom is unsafe to be around so i do not have a relationship with her anymore because it was abusive. So naturally i was excited when my dad remarried because i thought i would finally have a mom but no of course it didnt work out this way. I feel like she hates me. She constantly judges me for everything i do like how i dress, how i talk, my interests, my morals, my belifes, my good habbits, my bad habbits, literally everything. She told me to my face that she hates me and it shows. When i was in my darkest mental state i was in and out of wards and while that was happening she sold my cat the only thing i had left, threw away my clothes, and got rid of my art. And for the times when i was home out of the wards she would insult me constantly. Her behavior is more so passive agressive now and not as intense but it still really affects my mental health and i wish she would just leave.
I'm very sorry you're going through this, I was in a very similar situation when I was your age so I want to give you hope that it does get better, not because THEY get any better but because soon you will be old enough to get a job, save money, and get the hell out of there
never felt more empowered in my life than when my stepmom sat me down right before HS graduation to tell me she hated me and wanted me out, and I told her I already had saved $5,000 and would be moving across the country in 3 weeks - BYEEEE

get a job, save everything, and hang in there. getting out is right around the corner and you'll be amazed how your mental health improves instantly when you get out a situation like that. it was like being alive for the very first time.

if your stepmom has a problem with the way you express yourself, that's her problem. the fact that she sold your cat is crazy and im really sorry that happened to you. if you can get a job and start saving money, you can move out as soon as possible. even just minimum wage will get you somewhere as long as you know how much to save and your spending budget. if you can't get a job for whatever reason, be as insufferable as possible until she gets so fed up that she leaves your dad (that's really all i can think of other than moving in with someone else, but the cops tend to drag people back to their parents even though it clearly isn't a safe situation.) also what did your dad have to say about her SELLING YOUR CAT? my dad fucking hates me but oh my god he'd beat the shit out of someone for selling my cats without my permission.
@尺0卂ᗪҜ1ㄥㄥ_尺0卂ᗪ1乇 I js turned 15 this month so ill be able to get a job during the summer which im happy abt! also my dad actually agreed to sell my cat. Pretty much anything my stepmom says my dad will go along with it even if its super mean he doesnt care. But i am looking foward to turning 18 bc my sister said i could move in with her which was super nice of her.
