what's your favourite twilight zone episode? i've been thinking about twilight zone today, i want to see if anybody's got any episodes they're really fond of.
my favourite one is "the nick of time" where they're at the diner and keep pulling fortunes from the little trinket on the table. something about that one always stuck with me. that, and "number 12 looks just like you" where everybody has to get plastic surgery at a certain age
My sister got me into it, we used to watch the SciFi channel New Years marathon when I was a kid. I love it so much. My favorite episode are (in no specific order):
Five Characters in Search of an Exit- five people wake up in a blank cylindrical room
One for the Angels- a street corner huckster distracts Death to save a young girl
Passage for Trumpet- depressed suicidal trumpeter meets Gabriel
The Midnight Sun- Earth is drifting into the sun and roasting
The After Hours- a woman realizes she's a living mannequin
People are Alike All Over - this one is my favorite favorite, though. A scientist survives a crash on Mars. He discovers that it is inhabited, and the Martians are just like Earthlings in every way! Including their prejudices.
If you like Twilight Zone, and don't mind audio dramas, take a listen to X Minus One. It's old radio Sci-fi serials. Very good stuff!!
@Erah Mar ooh the "people are alike all over" episode is a good one. i'll have to check out x minus one, that sounds cool !!
@draven demon X Minus One is sooo good. Sure, there's some episodes that are kinda meh, but there are so many that are just *mwah* chef's kiss.
He's Alive is easily my favorite. The young Dennis Hopper's performance as this pathetic Neo-Nazi is incredible.
I remember watching the twilight zone with my father when I was little, a few that stuck with me were "The Collection", "Living Doll", and "Escape Clause". Though a lot of the other episodes are much much more amusing, I'm fond of these specific ones for some odd reason.
My favorite is the one where the woman is alone when tiny alien robots terrorize her home.
