psa: be fucking normal about fast food workers

Fast food is one of those industries where basically every worker is overworked and underpaid, especially in the USA, and yet it's so fucking normalized for people to be cruel and impatient with them

I get it, shit's overpriced right now but that gives you no right to throw a tantrum because the person being paid like 13 USD an hour AT BEST that barely can afford anything and sometimes is a fucking MINOR because your food was late or messed up

If you will get pissed and yell at a underpaid worker because of how expensive food is where you ordered, fucking make food at home, it causes less.

Be fucking patient and give grace

I would legit execute people based purely on the fits they throw over service workers etc.

This 100%! Even as a bartender I get so many crude and rude people over the week; it's like, what happened to kindness and respect yaknow?

I don't understand being rude to a worker in the service industry, especially fast food. Your food is not an emergency or a tragedy, and those poor people are probably down two workers anyway.

It's also like they've never seen "Waiting..." before: Don't fuck with the people who make your food.

I understand what you're saying but most people that are mad at fast food workers are pretty miserables themselves so dont sweat at the end of the day people will just be assholes same as any other place (BUT EVERYONE IF YOU SEE A KAREN RANTING ABOUT HER FOOD BEING A MINUTE LATE HELP THE POOR WORKER)

don't know why it's so normalized to disrespect and harass people working in fast food now. the rise of people "pranking" these people for views is literally just harassment, and they definitely have enough shit to be worried about at their jobs. also don't know why people just lack patience or basic manners when talking to fast food workers anymore

People's attitude towards service workers says a lot about them. 

"Don't work at McDonald's when you're older" pissed me off because fast food is a go too for people mostly. But then they always complain when the staff is low because yeah there's like three people working there busting their ass to feed you and everyone.

fast food ain't even fast no more! if you can't wait for your food, don't make it the workers' problem! i'll never forget the time some lady had the audacity to threaten me because her food was cold upon pickup when she was late picking it up. the nerve of some people "( – ⌓ – )

No cause why the fuck are we treating normal ass workers like they're nothing? I have not worked in the food industry but let me tell you I have heard some horror stories. Some people really do be waking up and choosing violence. I can understand if something didn't go your way and you're a little upset by it but there is no reason you should ever treat a person poorly because of it. I saw a reaction video on this one video of a guy who ordered food at like a wendys or something and he was recording himself yelling at the workers and throwing shit. He was threatening to get violent and everything all because the cheese on his burger wasn't melted😑. I think he might have been doing it for views but I still think that is so disrespectful and childish. You are a grown ass man you should not be threatening minimum wage workers.
