tell me about an album that permanently altered the way you think. could be about something simple or something complex. preferably, pick a nicheish album. my pick is (Untitled-0007-0020+0001) by JOHNNASCUS. It's based off the anime serial experiments lain, and it changed the way i view technology. Would highly recommend listening

literally every conan gray album but ESPECIALLY found heaven

I think I'm listening to one right now, I'll get back to you in about 16 days. I'm on an experimental music kick. Not sure how it'll change me but I'm fairly certain it will leave some sort of mark on my psyche ヽ( ´ー`)ノ

My pick for an album that completely altered my brain and thinking is feels like you by whirr, it absolutely changed the way i feel about love and affection and whoa its such a great album

Blue by Joni Mitchell!! now it’s my favourite colour and it’s made me see how the word ‘Blue’ can represent so many different things. I always cry to it lol

i would literally name any of Guns n' Roses albums, but i think Appetite for Destruction? idk, this album changed my style, my taste in music, the way i process emotions... but i feel similar way to almost all of the music i listen to! i'm too emotional😓
not niche AT ALL, but yeah...

not an album but a music video

Yeah Boy and Dollface PTV

pretty mainstream but actually Lemonade

this is kind of a basic answer but suicide season by bring me the horizon. it's what made me open up to metalcore, deathcore and similar genres. before listening to it i never really liked any kind of music with scream vocals, but directly after listening to it i listened to count your blessings and there is a hell which then made me listen to suicide silence, every time i die and attack attack. without that album my music taste would be VERY different :)

loss by me and him call it us, verses of the bleeding by abnegation, destroy the machines by earth crisis, welcome to viper city by recon. the four i can name off the top of my head but i know theirs more

reddishness by girls rituals definitely changed something in me.. same with crap shit. pocket full of kryptonite by the spin doctors was also quite revolutionary for me and opened me up to uhh. good music. same with whatever and ever amen by ben folds five and clear hearts gray flowers by jack off jill.

Hell for a basement - drug bug

If I had never listened to it I wouldn’t have found like half of my music taste

A fever you can’t sweat out by P!atd, i made it my whole personality in middle school LMAO
