hi, i want to know what´s your method to study (especially on college) any kind of subject. i have a final oral exam i have to do next monday and i´m kinda stuck on a topic my brain doesn´t seem to want to learn.

what i normally do is make summaries, read them and then i make concept maps with important keys concepts i have to remember. it works out for me, but there´s times where there´s too much information and i get lost (not knowing what to summarize- what to ignore, what to pay attention to)

also, i want to know if there´s any kind of helpful platform for students. sometimes i use notebooklm but lately it hasn´t been helping me much.

The way I normally used to practice was by trying to cram as much of the course's information onto a sheet of paper, If I knew something well I'd only briefly mention it with like a "Don't forget X", then I had more space to summarize stuff I found difficult. It allowed me to focus on things I thought were hard. The goal was to keep it on the 1 sheet of paper.

@Anemoia i´ve never heard of this so I will try it out!! sounds easy to read that way. thank uu

the person with the 1 sheet of paper sounds helpful!! what i do is go thru the slides/textbook/notes, and every slide or paragraph i'll summarize it into 1-2 sentences. then to make sure i memorize it, i'll turn around and write down everything i remember on a whiteboard. then you know what you don't remember so u can learn it, and you get to practice what you already know!!

@neomatcha that´s great bc i have a whiteboard i don´t use, i´ll definitely use it now lol, thank u!! this is so helpful

@sherr i actually do something similar as you but yours it´s better xd, and i´ve heard so many people do the pomodoro method I will actually try it out lol. let´s see how it works out, thank you!
