method to study,

hi, i want to know what´s your method to study (especially on college) any kind of subject. i have a final oral exam i have to do next monday and i´m kinda stuck on a topic my brain doesn´t seem to want to learn.

what i normally do is make summaries, read them and then i make concept maps with important keys concepts i have to remember. it works out for me, but there´s times where there´s too much information and i get lost (not knowing what to summarize- what to ignore, what to pay attention to)

also, i want to know if there´s any kind of helpful platform for students. sometimes i use notebooklm but lately it hasn´t been helping me much.

Hi!! I'm not a college student yet, but my method basically consists of repetition.

First I reread the topic and underline it, I try to explain the topic to myself in my own words, then after understanding it I present it as if I were in front of an audience 

The final step is to return to the original material and memorize as much as possible. If that's not feasible, I study it so I can explain it in my own words. For me, the key is understanding and rest!

I also use the "pomodoro" method, which consists of 25 minutes of studying and 10 minutes of rest; there's even an app with this name and another one called "YPT"
