Does anyone like Japanese horror films? I've recently started getting into them.
This is actually interesting. Although horror movies don't scare me at all, I enjoy watching them for the creepy and dark atmosphere. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Japanese horror films have their own uniqueness...Probably mystery.

This movie is so beautiful, and so disturbing! It follows a painter who... finds a mermaid in a manhole XD. But then he brings her to a bath, and all kinds of body horror stuff happens.
Audition (1999)
This movie is actually based on a book by my fav author (ryu murakami). Its about a fake audition, that goes very wrong

Takashi Miike's Izo. It's one hell of a film and not necessarily in a good way.

Why has NO ONE mentioned 'Noroi: The Curse'? Amazing found footage/paranormal movie, omg smh it needs to stop being so underrated
also guys dont rec the guinea pig series, yeah it's horrifying but its fake snuff not horror. Idk if I'm being sensitive about that but like idk its just straight up fake torture and gore theres not even a plot in the first one.
