what's your favorite color and WHY?

mine is pink because it represents the essence of what femininity is. like its just a powerful color and i love it.

I find it so interesting how nobody really knows why pink became so strongly associated with femininity, especially because the designated color for girls used to be blue. I’ve looked around for an answer and nobody has one. Women don’t have a biological draw to the color; if they seem to, it’s learned behavior. The invention of prenatal testing and the children’s clothing trend of dressing as miniature adults seem to have played a part—the earlier you know a child’s sex, the longer you have to prepare based off of that info, leading to more thought surrounding how to decorate their nursery, what kind of dress they’ll wear, etc. I assume this boosted children wardrobes in general, and would definitely perpetuate the “pink is for girls” claim. I like that the color has been reclaimed

My favorite color is green. I think it’s beautiful

mine is black and red bc i love every kinda red its such a beautiful color and every shade is so unique and same with black, i love purple black and red black idk how ppl cant tell the difference TvT

Green for sure because i find it pleasing to look at 

green because there was a game called Dweller's Empty Path and it was my special interest for 2 years. it's all in green

Green because it's the color of the trees and I love nature so much it's such a calming and grounding color any color green I love!!!! And also pink but that's a more recent upbringing of a favorite, it chose me I didn't choose it. 

Mine are purple and black, because I think they're cool and cause I use them to represent myself alot

ok so mines more so like 2 colors but they look really good together so i cant choose one soo

specifically #FFC5D3 pastel pink and specifically #1D1C1A black those to colors are so pretty together no matter what it is or what its on

red is my fav color bc its VERY pleasing to look at it and is also my hyperfocus. FYI my hair is red, my keyboard is red, my guitar is red, my fav shirt has red in it, the steering wheel strip in my car is red, and the interior led in it is mostly red too, I LOVE RED YAYYYY

orange. honestly the love started when i first got into nascar and started to first go look at old blogs, posts, etc. my fave also happened to wear alot of orange due to his sponser back then lmao. now i appericate all things orange :-)

My favorite color is green and it's been my favorite color since childhood, going back to when my entire bedroom was green growing up, where the wallpapers were illustrations of countryside neighborhoods and farmlands, all in varying shades of green and my carpet covering the entire floor was a dark shade of green. I sadly lost my room in a tragic housefire as I entered my teens but we rebult the house and my room got a more mature look, but still with green mostly covering the bedroom, but this time my wallpaper was a solid shade of green and the curtains were a mixture of green and blue (my second favorite color after green) and I absolutely loved it. Green is such a calming and relaxing color for me and I also associate it with spring and summer when the grass is green again and so are the leaves on the trees.

Crimson red because I love it!

My favorite is purple. I don't know why, it's just always been my favorite for as long as I can remember. 💜

My favorite color is purple, especially darker shades of purple. I just love how it looks kinda magical. I also love petrol/teal blue in specific because of the same reason and I used to have that shade as my haircolor for many years. So i've just grown kinda attached to it :)

okok i really love orange (esp rust) because its the hair color of one of my top favorite characters. PLUS i like appreciating colors that arent loved as much. orange can be so nice on clothing and i rarely find it!

also green. its all over the place and its nice appreciating the million variations i find everywhere; clothing, paints, foliage... its so beautiful to me<3
