Digital camera replacement advice?

Back to Web & Tech

I've had my digital camera for 10 years now and it's still working perfectly fine, but I recently lost the battery charger for it, and one of the only places I can buy it is on Canon's official website. It costs around $60, and I'm debating whether I should bite the bullet and buy it, or buy another digital camera for half the price.

There are definitely alternatives, like buying a charger second-hand on eBay for less than $10, but I feel a little sketchy buying chargers second-hand. Any advice?

have you though about getting a 3rd party charger. amazon has good replacement chargers, they had a charger for my VHS camera that hasn't been manufactured since the 80's
