DDLC discussion page! I didn't see any forum about it and i feel like DDLC deserves one haha!!
but I have a question about it—
What's your FAVORITE part about the game? Literally ANYTHING. favorite characters, themes, etc!
Personally my favorite things about DDLC are the main parts about it, the horror and poems.
And my favorite character is Sayori, she's really cool!!!

my most favorite part of the game has got to be the foreshadowing and easter eggs hidden in it! for example the game files and effects upon launching the game that occur if you delete specific characters. i also found the part where (spoiler!) yuri’s body rots while the game ‘script’ is supposed to be running through the weekend and the dialogue in those scenes really interesting. it’s such an awesome detail imo :D
my favorite characters are yuri personality wise and monika plot wise!
my favorite part of the game is the horror and the characters. the horror in the game never felt too overdone to me and the characters are well written imo

I remember when this game first came out and it made the news. I adored it and bought it on both playstation and pc when it came out. I LOVE all the characters! My fav is easily natsuki. The horror aspects are so well done!

I love everything about ddlc but I think I like the writing and the meaning of ddlc so much because it just feels so well thought out and the characters feel so real..
Has anyone played the gender bend version
around when DDLC came out, I always wrote off visual novels as just dating sim stuff, but I watched a friend play it and it was seriously scary! (for how old I was). I think it was one of my first experiences with a game with a meta-narrative; it freaked me out that the game "knew" if i was messing with the game files.
my fav part of the game is deffo like how theres also so much u can do outside of the game itself, like all the little file things that also kinda act like a virus or smth. i think thats SOOO cool i wish there were more games that do stuff like that (like outside of the game itself if ykwim idk)

My fav is personally natsuki but my fav detail from the game is monikas design resembling all the other dokis like her bow resembling sayori,long hair resembling yuri nd ponytail 2 resemble natsuki and the black socks to be unique from all of them
i love everything about the game. the themes.. the characters.. how attached you can get to the characters.. the music.. the themes.. the scares.. the sounds.. EVERYTHING.
that being said, i cant personally pick a favorite doki anymore.. however when i first found ddlc i loved both yuri AND natsuki, but now, i love everyone equally.
like imagine putting sayori at your #4 spot for best doki..
i appreciate the simplicity of it, its easy to get into and not really gory or anything
my fav characters are probably natsuki and yuri !! i also love all of the little details you might not notice when first playing the game or be confused about
