how do you store your CDs?

Back to Music

i have them on the same shelf as books, dolls, and other trinkets and i'm running out of space but i just got some more CDs and now i'm not sure how to organize them.

i thought having them on top of eachother would be the best option but as soon as i take one out they all start falling over + it's hard to put them back to the bottom row. the digipacks that are taller than the rest don't make it easy either but i like to keep them in ABC order and by that they go in the bottom row.

i might get a new shelf next month but until then, what's a better way to store them?

I have them scattered around my cd player but most of them are right above it or in a folder

But I don’t really have them organized in any order cuz I’m constantly picking them up and moving them

here’s mine aswell as my records

Like this. I have so many cd's from bands I do not like anymore, so ignore the korn, trapt, slipknot, soad and ratm etc etc... And then next to the cd's are video tapes. Im trying to get more "rare" cd's.

Red Rover, Red Rover, Bob Lazar's Coming Over.

I have mine laying on the ground BECAUSE!! Im waiting to put them in my car

I have mine stored in a cabinet on a specific shelf because me and my bf both share it

I just put them on a table next to my bed

I have them in a flat box. but the cds I lose the case for are in a storage case

i'm very particular about organizing things, so i have mine sorted alphabetically by artist, then album name 😅

i got the shelf from five below years ago when it was actually below $5 in there (rip) but could totally diy or thrift something

@grrlsgrrl omg finally someone who gets it!!! i have them like that too, i helped out at the local library for some time and that's where i got the idea lol i'll keep my eye out for a shelf like this the next time i go thrifting or shopping!
