Are you an album or singles person?

Back to Music

Basically I'm asking if you prefer to listen to full albums or just prefer listening to single songs, I'm sort of a weird mix of both, my saved music is all albums, and I tend to listen to full albums through before picking another one, but if I'm on spotify (or using the music I have on my PSP) all my music is in a massive playlist, so there's full albums mixed in with various singles and solo songs, though this means I sometimes get 'intermission' songs mixed in with regular songs :P

When I was younger I was definitely a singles person, listening to the same song over and over again for years. I find nowadays I lean more towards listening to albums as a whole, especially if I'm doing day to day tasks like driving or cleaning. However, I'm still quite repetitive with the albums haha.

i'd say i'm a mix of both but mostly singles- i tend to make big playlists to put on shuffle, or repeat the same song or two over and over again sometimes lol. for some reason i just don't find a lot of albums where i like every song enough to listen through the whole thing more than once or twice. even from my favorite artists! it's something i've been trying to do more of though even when i don't particularly like the full album- as i do enjoy and appreciate hearing the songs in the order the artist intended, especially when there's a story through the whole album (either musically or a literal narrative in the lyrics). and obviously when i listen to my vinyls i always listen to the full album :3

Singles, I listen to like, 1 album a year tops.

Depends honestly. I have moments where I wanna listen to a whole album from an artist, but mostly I'll just listen to singles on a random playlist

It really depends on the artist and the album for me

Album all the way. The songs are already in the perfect order,,

Personally I like singles more! I feel like trying to like an album is too much commitment ^^;

i basically js listen to the same artist until i wanna hear sum different lol

Mostly single tracks in a big big playlist on shuffle for listening in the background, but sometimes I like to enjoy an entire album, front to back when I want to focus more on the music.

I listen to an album front to back if I liked it.

But singles if I don't like most of the track from an album and only liked the single.

Tbh i think it depends on the band/artist, but for the most part its singles.

boo

I'm def an album girl, ever since I got my cd/casette player I've been listening to my albums front to back. But most of my favorite artists only release singles o,n,o

Just an online girl~

I was a singles person for a long time because there weren't many albums I liked to listen to all the way through, but lately I've been keeping about 3-4 albums on rotation. I still have dozens of chonky playlists tho (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

"what are you thinking about?" "uh.. uh.."

there's only one band that I'll listen to any of the albums front to back. A lot of the time I'm listening to music I can sing along with. Don't get me wrong I'll listen to other bands albums but that's more if it's in the background.

I definitely have my playlists that I loop in the car or while gaming or working on stuff. But to be honest, I absolutely have always loved popping in a CD or an LP and listening through the whole album. Not every album released is made to be listened that way, especially in the pop-sphere, so it definitely depends on the album. But all the albums I own have a specific style or vibe that is carried through the entire album that makes it so nice to listen to.

I’d say i’m a mix of both but i prefer singles more since I usually listen to a big playlist mix of my favourite tracks from a rotation of albums I really like (aaanndd so I can play them on repeat lolz) ^^’’. But there are maybe 4-5 albums in my rotation that I’d fully sit down and listen to when I’m doing longer tasks!!

Albums def though I don't mind playlists
