Scenemo reccomendations..

hi okay so i had a pretty lengthy convo about the style with some friends, and i wanna try and get some accessories and clothes n stuff.. but i dont know even the first of how id start or get into it..

im looking for like maybe websites or collections to where i can get stuff... my boyfriend offered to buy me things so maybe nothing too expensive.. for his sake & mmine haha  

not really looking for anything i have to go to a store for since i cant drive yet ^^"

For accessories I highly recommend getting into making kandi if you don't already. Beads and string a relatively cheap and easy to get from any craft store, and there's a fuckload of tutorials online.

Seconding the kandi recommendation! It's a huge part of the look for a lot of people. I believe Hot Topic does ship if you're looking for something... I guess more classic? The store has kind of morphed into a more fandom-centric space in the last decade but you can still find some really good accessories and such from time to time. I got my set of stripy green arm warmers that became key to a few outfits there for pretty cheap. Etsy has also been pretty good to me over the years, though sometimes it takes some digging to find the specific things you want. There are a ton of excellent artists making scene and emo accessories. One of my favorite artists for patches and spiky collars is Zombierufio but it seems like they closed their store recently ;-;
