The movie is chef's kiss but like most readers, I prefer the book as of course it gives more detail to the plot and characters. I also enjoy watching the fan-made animations on youtube and amvs. I'm currently working on something based on the first part of the book in which Grace is trying to remember his identity after waking up from the coma.
What are some things from the book that you think would have been great to see on the big screen? 馃
I really wish the scene with Stratt where shes in court was in the movie. I feel it would鈥檝e been funny ngl.聽

I wanted so badly for the his little mad max apocalypse speech to make it in, I struggled to pay attention for like the next ten minutes when I realized they cut it because it just felt like very easy to include crucial piece of grace鈥檚 character right off the bat.
@CinnabarMothic yeah definitely some passages in the book could have made a bigger impact on screen for the movie. The theme of it was literally the Sun is dying which means the Earth is too, but the way they oversimplified it for the movie didn鈥檛 make it as dramatic or impactful as it should have been.
