Im a BIG fan of splatterpunk. I like how grotesque and morbid these books are. I also like classics and romance books.

I am bad at genres, but I think my favourite is contemporary! The kind with queer characters and/or mentally ill characters. It is a break from imagining fantasy worlds and being caught up in thriller-adjacent books, and I seem to also relate to a lot of the books in this genre in varying degrees which brings me comfort! It is looking at the words and going oh! I am not alone! Even if these are only fictional characters
romance! i know its a bit cliche, but i really love stories that focus on the relationships between two or multiple characters
ohh i'd have to say historical or medieval fantasy! particularly ones when there's little to no romance in the story,, i just love found family, politics, magic, etc.

I love a little bit of everything! But lately I've been enjoying what the internet has dubbed "weird girl lit" A genre feating bizzare, unhinged, weird women. Theres a reddit forum for recs. For others reading this comment; please be aware 99 percent of them are only suited for 18+ for some heavy and adult themes.
