can we have the ability to display raw html on forums, blogs, etc.

e.g. not auto parsing the html < code > tag would be nice

or also....an addition to the text editor icon list for displaying a segment of code

what i've been trying is using &lt; // &gt; and while they do display the tags whilst in the editor, the moment they're posted, they also parse AS html (which is not the intention at all)

anyway a solution to this would def be helpful for providing newbs with coding pointers
