Mainly wanted to shout out this game: “The Little Red Lie”. It’s short, awesome, and the creator has another (maybe multiple) games if I’m not mistaken.

im not sure if these are very niche but i used to watch coryxkenshin play them yearss ago, mermaid swamp, ao oni and the crooked man
CONERU -DIMENSION GIRL- is a really cute and great platformer, its a real shame how under the radar it went
Kotama and Academy Citadel is a wonderfully made metroidvania akin to Hollow Knight. Both the exploration and gameplay are great.
WizardWare is a fun little game great for filling awkward amounts of time.
And not really niche as it was super popular back in RPGM horror's golden age but Funamusea's games are amazing(Mogeko Castle, The Gray Garden, Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea)
