Like many, I was invited to come here by another Spacehey user, and I’m fond of this site so far. I have been on Spacehey since 2020 and have witnessed its bloom and perhaps its downfall. Since joining FriendRewind yesterday, I’ve determined the music features and user-friendly layout creation here is definitely top-tier for sites like this. I do have doubts about the longevity of this place since most like it seem to crumble once it’s become popular and succumb to an unappreciative audience… but we’ll hope this site is an outlier in the meantime.
I typically only hang out in online spaces like this when I do want to socialize, though I don’t seem to do so well at the socializing part. I’ve conversed with a few gems in spaces like this before, and do appreciate having such spaces for people to meet or bond over shared interests. I’m not entirely concerned with meeting people who are so similar to me, but if I could make a friend close in age and who is also somewhat peculiar, that’d be ideal. Regardless of my friend-making success, I’m happy to be aware of another site that encourages creativity.
If- anyone is interested, I would gladly give html/css help (so long as I don’t change my mind, fall asleep, or don’t know how to help you lol.) for layouts or web pages.
I also wouldn’t mind conversing with someone willing to help me practice Spanish -but that’s just a shot in the dark.
