Do people still hate the moe style?

I feel like people have been slowly getting attached to the 2000s moe art style but I think in the past since Lottie/Canihaveapromo used it people have the moe style were called "Clones" but this feels like it barely happened for me since I've been sleeping under a rock.

i take the word “moe” with extreme caution. i don’t hate it, but it’s still a bit of a buzzword. as long as bad actors keep using it to refer to bad media, it will always be a word that i avoid

i like it, i think it's really cute. i do agree with w/ makkusu said as well, since i never really called it the 'moe' style. i js associate it with nightcore backgrounds & its literally my computer wallpaper. i didnt actually realize it was that hated

girl they're only doing that on tiktok, people hate everything on tiktok and i say that as a tiktok user

I've always liked it honestly, it'd remind me of how I used to put those types of art as my wallpaper as a kid or of some speedpaints I'd watch. I just find it extremely stupid that some people associate it with pedophilia somehow, all because of some artists on the internet...

that's the late 00s anime style. are people thinking it's creepy bc there used to be a bunch of high school eroge in that style? bc it was used for WAY more than that back in the day and a lot of it was clean.

I dont exactly dislike the style itself, just majority of the people that use or represent it. Especially the ones that are prominently online.

Honestly no. I dont hate it. Its not really my thing but it looks cute and charming. I kinda like it

i never called it moe tbh; moreso a cutesy internet anime fanart style. i think its cute and honestly kinda nostalgic for me.

in like 2014-2019 i never saw it getting as much hate online as it does now, so i think its definitely the problematic ppl who made it so hated.

Nah, I saw a whole Pokemon ROM hack centered around Moes or whatever they're called.
