this might sound a little stupid, but i'm honestly pretty stuck 3:
i want to keep things from css and the visual builder at the same time! or at least figure out how to add my settings from the visual builder to the css...
but the background image doesn't stay in css and changes from the css won't show up in the visual builder... (which is what i expected from the visual builder but why won't the background show up in the css preview?)

i've been trying to code whatevers missing in css but when i save my layout and add the changes, it goes back to what was in the visual builder layout!
i was thinking it's because i need to add the same changes to these two types of code?? but i'm not entirely sure how to, and i thought just using what was generated from the visual builder would've worked. do i delete one of these? im not very good at working with html and css and i could use some clarity.. T_T
