so, we all understand the rule in time travel of not.....interacting with anything in that era. Cause it'll cause a butterfly effect, the wings of monarchs batting and fluttering about enough to cause a hurricane or tornado--exemplary. But if you could just change one thing about you past, it can be anything--what would you change? How would it have altered your life? Are you grateful, that even if you could, you cant? do you like the way your life is unfolding enough to not change anything?
for me personally-------im a survivor of some horror story esque stuff, ig. I don't want to divulge much of that, however. If there was just one thing...........I'd have liked my first foster family to have adopted me. I think, considering the fact that i was 1 when i was put in the system, ig--it'd change everything. Honestly, i don't know who'd i end up being, or even if like. i'd have not gone through the same level of trauma i endured had i not been adopted by them. I know this though--i wouldnt have been in the hands of narc parents that crippled me mentally for most of my existence.
I honestly thought my foster family was my real family.
I don't know who'd i would of ended up being.
but i can't help but look down at my stupid sh scars at fucking 31 years old, fresh, an angry, sharp red. And i wonder if i'm 31 and still shaking from being sexually abused/raped and tortured and hit as a child, the memories replaying like a bad movie i cant turn off--who tf would i have been, had the people around me protected me and kept me away from my bio parents?
So, what about you?
One thing.....what would you change? :)
