This site is really cool and has me curious just how many people know html and css like the back of their hand or had chatbot assistance, no shade here, there's plenty of local host options, and opinions can sway one way or another, but I just want to know how many did.

How many of you used an llm or coding agent when creating your profile?
i think probably close to no one. this isn't really the platform for that
sekai de ichiban ohimesama@goodbunny Definetly wrong on that, parts of this site scream vibe coded to me and Ive seen a multitude of ai generated layouts. I just wanted real numbers to it because I was curious.
@b3aconator like the other person mentioned there's a built in layout maker so it might be that, not vibecoding. like this is a myspace recreation i feel like people arent gonna be vibecoding

i used the built in site layout generator lol.
even though i've gotten the green light from a few of my friends actually in the coding field, i don't use llms to build my websites because then if there's a block of code that needs fixing, i won't know where that bit of code is because i didn't write the edits myself and i'll end up having to start back at square one again. there are a lot of reasons beyond ethics/water use that i don't use ai for most things.
my tools of the trade
- plain text notepad editor
- f12 (to see what elements i need to tweak)
- a lil sprinkling of magination
- being drunk as all heck
i started tweaking tf outta css
ever since i was enthralled by it on tumblr over ten years ago 
Nope zero Ai here. I literally just frankenstein code and learned that way. Html and css is actually pretty easy to pick up.
How can you tell if something is vibecoded or not anyways?

@Jamz💋 lol usually I can tell something is vibecoded by the fact that it doesn't work (ex. discord and bluesky)
Well on a real note since salival probably hasn't touched an LLM since 2023, there's 2 pretty clear ways,1 when you inspect it there's excessive annotation as if a large firm wrote the code even on little projects, just like explanations of what each line does, and then there's this in the screenshot there's that weird green hue orb in the middle of a section, not saying this site was AI generated, but for some reason chatgpt loves to do that. AI coding agents have beaten all but like 1 coding expert on the AtCoder World Tour Finals 2025. and its progress is on an exponential curve so anyone who thinks AI can't code well is completely delusional. But yeah you can not like data centers or whatever I just don't like the virtue signaling from salival so Im being passive aggressive

Anyone who actually does CSS/HTML knows that AI is bad at stuff like this. It hallucinates code creates fake selectors that don't exist. It takes more work correcting it than just doing it yourself tbh

Not a single bit of AI assistance. Just me fucking around.
Absolutely no knowledge of coding whatsoever (despite my parents' tries when I was younger) and wouldn't touch ai with even a mile long stick, my whole entire profile was built on the visual builder available, which is a huge reason why I don't have a blog layout
I'm one of the last (or so it seems) software developers refusing to use AI at all, so I'm happy to spend an hour struggling to set up a profile that looks nice using CSS and HTML. I haven't yet, but maybe I will.
Edit: I also ban AI from projects I manage.

Yeah I'm fairly rusty at this type of thing, most my time is spent doing low level programming and debugging.
