What mods should I get for minecraft

I'm thinking of starting a new minecraft world and thought it would be fun to add in some mod but I don't really know what to add, so what's the best mods recommendation for survival and maybe creative aswell. I'm playing on forge 1.21.8

id recommend the multiverse mod it makes crakes in the sky and creates a weird dream like dimension 

create, mekanism, refined storage and stellaris

do you know that mod that saturates all the audio? you gotta get that

If you want more tech mods, check out the Thermal Series (start with Thermal Foundation and Thermal Expansion, and add the rest if you want). If you want to mess around with storage, try Applied Energistics 2, but be ready to attempt to figure things out

If you like magic mods, I recommend Ars Nouveau and/or Iron's Spells and Spellbooks (as well as their addons)

idk if it's available for 1.21.8 but minecraft without the aether mod feels incomplete to me
