It kinda feels like I hallucinated it but it was my very first social media bc Google was forcing it down peoples' throats at the time.
I feel like Google Plus very much was like Amino in a lot of ways, people were on it way too young, a lot of grooming, and a lot of mentally ill children professing their love for you because you spoke to them (this wasn't just a me thing????)
I NEED to find out who on here also was on Google Plus.
I signed up shortly after it launched but didn't spend much time on it. It just never held my attention for some reason, probably because all my friends were on Facebook by then.

I fucking HATED google plus, dude they tried forcing it to be used EVERYWHEEERRRE, it was annoying as hell, and then they kept trying to push some social platform aspect of it too, I'm so happy its dead. Google sucks.

One day during lunch in middle school some of my friends were making fun of Google Plus, and one of the more obnoxious girls in our little group’s periphery angrily yells “GOOGLE PLUS IS MY ONLY WAY TO COMMUNICATE!” Without missing a beat the guy sitting across from her goes “how about with your fucking mouth?” He was an asshole but that made me laugh really hard.

I existed on Google Plus, but I rarely used it, mostly because my friends existed there and rarely used it. Someone tried to tell me it was better because you could organize your friends into groups, and I'm like, yeah, I can do that on Facebook too and I don't have to start a new social media from scratch.
