! - BLACK METAL THREAD - !

I've been thinking about old abandoned metal forums of the early 2000's a lot lately... I thought I'd make a proper thread in the same vein as those old forums - please treat this as such.

I want this thread to be about anything black metal related you have on your mind that you'd like to share or rant about. 
Saw a cool band live? Found a hidden gem? Got some new stuff in your physical collection? Know weird trivia or lore about an obscure band? Want to worship the classics? Talk about it here!

 If you don't know what to talk about - tell me about an album or release that's been stuck in your head lately and why.

Dark ambient and dungeon synth is also welcome here. Absolutely NO "keller" or "tanzel".

My personal favorite band/metal band is Wounded Masquerade, probably some of the best music I've ever heard and I've a good amount of metal. The band popped up in my feed one day forever ago and I was like "I dunno man...I don't like black metal/dsbm a whole lot." Then I listened to it and I was like WOAH this shit rules and it really clicked with me on like a subconscious level. I still am not a huge fan of the genre but Wounded Masquerade is a band I'll never not talk about. "Baptized in the blood of an empty heart" is my favorite track personally, that and "I want to disappear ft. Hatsune Miku". I've listened to both like a million times.

The drumming on this is on point, esp the main groove and when he played with the high-hats :)
