My favourite fanfic was abandoned mid storyline 
It was an invader zim one
I mostly read andreil fanfics from All For The Game book saga on AO3, and I´m obsessed with the tags fluff, cuddling and snuggling, post-canon types of fanfics. There´s this one where Neil is studying very late into the night and Andrew is like really sleepy and tries to coax Neil to bed, and he says okay but then starts tidying their dorm and makes a grocery shopping list. Andrew appears once again and he´s like what are you doing SLEEP it´s two in the morning, Neil says yeah but our pantry is empty. And so they go to the store and Andrew is almost falling asleep while standing and pushing the cart. Anyway, it´s a short fanfic but it´s really sweet, there´s specific moments that live in my mind rent free.

the pain of liking things that have almost no fandom or no fanfiction is immeasurable . or either they do have fanfics but it's weird X readers that make my fave a gross alpha wolf dominant nonconsensual male

@da I feel the same about x reader stories. They’re annoying sometimes and super cliche a lot of the time. I have niche interests too 😭 it’s so hard finding something within the fandom that I kinda have to make my own to satisfy my bloodlust
hands down vessel’s perspective by snailtrail on ao3. i hold the work to a very high standard cuz not only is the writing good but the plot is so well fleshed out, characters are dissected and interpreted with accuracy but it’s also a slow burn with over 70 chapters currently. like, mahito fans are eating so good. it inspired me to write my own fanfic actually.
