Hi! I’m gonna start a series where I kinda just ask questions (usually surrounding my mental health) and see if anyone has any insight, or maybe just relates. I know I could ‘just ask google’ but I like the whole human aspect of asking here.
Anyway, question #1:
After Covid, like most people, I had a really hard time adjusting to people again. This was around middle school, and we’d just gotten back to in person in 7th grade. Well, I had two really severe breakdowns, both at the same time: lunch. It was like the thought of being around people and the noise made me nauseous. It genuinely caused me so much distress. I haven’t had anything like that sense, and I think I’ve mellowed out, but sometimes, the thought of being around people genuinely fills me with a sickening dread. Would anyone happen to know why?
