I want to post my writings, but I can't figure out how I want to go about it.

Okay so, I should first off say that most of my literature is unfinished stuff. I like writing chaptered stories, but there has not been one project of that caliber that I've started where I have also finished it. But I figured, maybe if I can find a place on the internet to share my stories, where I can publish each chapter at it's own time so I don't have to worry about rushing myself to finish a book, that that would be the perfect thing for me. But I'm not sure how successful the results might be. I can't think of an exact place on the internet for that specific kind of stuff either.

What do you guys think?

i've seen some writers post on Tumblr!! i'm not too familiar with Tumblr, but i've seen people section and tag their works so you can follow it sorta like chapters. and i've seen blogs themed in a way that makes it read sorta like those fanfiction sites like AO3.

you could also try Substack! it's normally for newsletters, but i'd assume you could use it to post chapters of your stories too! i see authors have multiple groups of newsletters with different topics. maybe you could use that to separate your different stories :)

there are the popular platforms that are more-so focused on fanfiction that allow original works. while the focus on fanfiction does mean there is less of an audience for original writing, there are people who won't mind reading original writing (ex: ao3 or tumblr [< however i would say it's slightly more successful to publish original poetry over short stories or chapters on that site]). 

i also agree on the recommendation of substack! its kind of *the* popular social media for writers & writing. i will also give you a recommendation of the site young writers society. its a small platform for writers that's focused on original fiction, but its been growing a bit more. it's a friendly site that understands writing takes time, and it doesnt have the usual algorithm that shares your posts more if you post consistently! (however, you will also have to review to get points to publish, which is to encourage you being social and networking a bit. making reviews aren't as intimidating as it sounds!)

substack fo sho. i'm on it tho i won't say who i am since that's separate from me being randumb xD on the old web. i have seen people do serial fiction. it is not as popular as articles but you do sometimes get readership.

only problem w substack is they recently introduced an ai feature and a lot of people aren't happy about that. look into it before posting there. 

Wattpad is worth considering, although it's not perfect.
