Any tips for meeting people irl when you're a homeschooled jungle freak?

Title says it all. Please share any tips you have.

Go where people tend to congregate. Especially with hobbies you actually care about. Like local shows or the mall or a music store or a craft store or a skate park if you skate. Some people go to the gym to be able to meet other health nuts, some people go to book clubs n shit for obvious reasons. 

Thats what those places are for, essentially, to build community (besides the gym but it's, like, a side effect) Just, like, go places where you know youll be able to talk to people about SOMETHING that you are all collectively into, and then convos about a shared interest becomes an easy gateway into conversations about eachother.

And dont be scared to initiate conversation because a lot of people are now, and then nobody talks to each other and nobody makes new friends. If you dont talk to people, people won't talk to you, yknow?
