Suggestions: Lotsa photo QoL stuff

hello!! back at it again with some photo-related inquiries :-] once again i checked to see if these were previously suggested but nothing came up, but if i somehow missed another topic covering any of these i apologize!! also apologies if any of these are already implemented and i just missed em... i get worried about that being the case since i'm still newer to the site xC

1. Ability to change a photo's source file
this one i was surprised to see not a thing, but i might just be used to what "edit photo" means on other photo-sharing sites haha. i think it would be nice to have the option to re-upload images via the "edit photo" menu (or have a button to itself in the manage section). there are occasionally times where i goof up when uploading photos to my profile, and it kinda sucks that the only workaround is to delete and re-upload photos entirely rather than just editing the photo to change the image. hopefully that makes sense x)

2. Ability to edit photo captions
this is basically the same as point 1 but for photo captions instead lol. once again, really annoying if you accidentally make a typo you just want to fix... right now it seems like you either gotta live it down or delete and re-upload the photo to fix the caption. or perhaps you didn't add a caption and would like to retrospectively, but the option's not there to edit one in. adding an "edit caption" button into the manage section of viewing a photo, or adding a little [edit caption] button directly to the right of a caption you wrote on your photo both seem like reasonable places to add this feature.

3. Ability to organize photos already sorted into an album
this is another one i was surprised to see not a thing, since i initially expected the "organize photos" button within the album management area to do what i'm suggesting. it would be nice to have the ability to manually order photos you've already grouped into an album, instead of only being able to sort photos that aren't in any albums to begin with. especially since (at least with me? idk) you can't upload photos and set their album to "unsorted", they have to be in an album to begin with. so adding them to an album, just to remove them, just to resort them into an album to get a specific album order? very tedious.

4. Ability to manually order albums
i didn't do very much tinkering to ensure this wasn't a feature already, so if it is i am super sorry T~T but from poking around to fact check my previous suggestions, it seemed to me that there was also no way to manually order albums (nor sort peoples' albums by most-->least photos, newest-->oldest, etc, but i digress) and you're simply stuck with albums showing up in order of [profile photo] album --> oldest --> newest. it would be cool to have the ability to manually change the order of albums so you can put what's most important to you at the top of your photos instead of newer stuff being shunted off into the "view all albums" area.

ooh, add-on to this, you could either make album organization work so that the [profile photo] album is stuck being your top album, or change it such that whichever album you've sorted as the top-most album is the album your profile draws from when loading photos on your profile. that would be nice, cuz i like to have strict organization for my photos but still wish i could show them off... making them unsorted nor adding them to the [profile photo] album are ideal compromises... but i'll live. XD

5. Ability to add a single photo to multiple albums
OK, this suggestion is way more out there than the rest of them, buuut... i think it'd be nice if you had the option to add a single photo to multiple albums, instead of just reposting the same photo twice to add to each album. i know for me, there are instances i could think of where the ability to link a single photo to multiple albums would be really useful. but it's hard to know if this is actually a normal thing to want implemented or reasonable to expect from the site, so i'm not expecting much to come from this suggestion. but hey, ya miss every shot you don't take! XD

this time, the qol is only tangentially related to photos themselves, but i don't feel like making a new thread cuz it's related just enough imo. hopefully i explained my suggestion well, cuz i didn't proofread myself to ensure clarity. if not, happy to expand on anything i screwed up conveying xP

6. Ability to mass clear (photo/video) notifications
it's probably a good idea to make mass notification clearing a thing for all notification types, but i felt the need to tack this on here because photo & video like spam is the only time your notifications could get flooded by a single well-intentioned individual that just really wants to like everything you posted. especially in the case of photos, where it's easy to scroll from one photo to the next and leave a like on every single one of a person's uploads.

an alternative solution would be to change how notifications for photo/video likes are distributed to begin with. instead of one notification being given per like indiscriminately, when one person likes any amount of your photos, the notification is consolidated into a single "[user] has liked [x amount] of your photos". or, this could simply be an "accordion notification", where you get a single overarching notification for one user liking your photos, and you can click something to expand on the notification to see a detailed list of every photo they liked. as long as every photo-like notification can be cleared quickly, the path to get there is somewhat open-ended.
