i've always really admired goth culture and ive always wanted to be goth but it seems so daunting
i really like the cure (i've listened to pornography, disintegration, and parts of seven seconds) and some other of the popular bands but ive always wanted to dive deeper into the subculture
Go to some goth events - look for things like "vampire night" or anything referencing the 80s on a normal non-Halloween day of the year. Talk to people there.
Most of us are actually very nice & will tell you where we got our clothes (or, more often, how we made them) & what bands we've been obsessing over.
Just listen to the music and fallow your heart with it. It will come naturally over time, you will fallow rabbit holes and discover and learn things in your way and eventually, if its you, you will present it in your fashion.
Look up the bands and just start listening homie.
ill give you 4 main starting points, and if you are really interested, look into their history too, and read about what clubs were important, watch video footage etc.
