My name is Frankie, hello all. I have already written about myself on my profile, but I figured I can post an introduction here too; I am up late and in the mood to ramble.
I'm 20 years old and I'm from Brazil. I am in my third year of college, studying History, which is a passion of mine. This includes many different eras and subjects (e.g subgroups like fashion history, aesthetic history, art history, architectural history, etc.) and I also enjoy incorporating history into my art and the characters I create.
On a similar vein, I enjoy anthropology and (beginner level) philosophical discussion; I feel a deep love toward humanity and our world, therefore am always interested in discussing the subject of human nature and history. I am also passionate about other fields of science which are listed in my profile and not here for brevity's sake.
I enjoy many music genres, but mainly stick to industrial and nu metal. I'm a bit picky with music but am looking to expand my tastes — notably, if you have non-English music recommendations, I am looking to listen. Aside from digital art, I enjoy photo editing (a la Picmix and the like), and have been on a slow but steady journey to learn HTML and CSS ever since 2023.
I honestly don't game nearly as often as one would expect, but I mostly gravitate toward farming simulators and the genre currently referred to as "cozy games", such as Minecraft, Fields of Mistria and Slime Rancher. I did get into ULTRAKILL and Baldur's Gate 3 recently though. I also especially adore the genre of surreal games, the likes of Yume Nikki, Disillusion ST, LSD Dream Emulator and Yume 2kki/.flow (the latter three of which I have not yet played).
On a similar vein, I enjoy all things horror. Unfortunately I'm not so much a fan of gore and splatter horror, as I mainly enjoy the psychological variety. I am deeply into indie/internet horror, seeing as I grew up with it; this refers to any form of strange YouTube videos, obscure and nonsensical websites, ARGs and games. I adore horror media which explores the human psyche/mental health troubles.
Lastly, I must mention that I love spiders and they are my favorite animal.
What I plan to post about: History, my OCs, art (both my own artwork as well as historical discussions), HTML and CSS, animals and insects, nature, the world, fashion, internet horror, games I play or movies I watch, personal projects, daily life.
Please do not feel afraid to interact with me. I am rather socially ungraceful, but even so I am eager to meet and chat with new people, seeing as I have undergone a long period of my life in relative solitude. I only ask that those below the age of 18 do not friend me, thank you!
